Admission Eligibility Requirements
Applicants to the Master of Accounting program must meet the following requirements:
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree*
- 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale)
International Applicants to the Master of Accounting program must also meet the following requirements:
- A strict minimum TOEFL score of 85 for consideration, or a minimum IELTS score of 7 (with no lower than a 6.5 in any section)

The Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) is a program similar to the Master of Accounting (MAcc) currently offered, but with an emphasis on flexibility, as well as international students and their specific needs. More information can be found here.
* Applicants from undergraduate majors other than accounting will be considered for admission.
** The GMAT is required for everyone who does not satisfy waiver requirements. Please see Admissions for further information about the waiver. You may not substitute a GRE or LSAT score. You also may not substitute work experience, credentials (CPA, etc) or any other consideration in lieu of the GMAT. There is no minimum score requirement. Please see Class Profiles for GMAT scores accepted in prior semesters.
Prerequisites may be satisfied by taking comparable courses at an acceptable accredited institution.
Prerequisites not met prior to admission will be added to the master’s program as part of first-year requirements but will not count towards the units needed for the Master of Accounting degree.

*** ACCT 200 and ACCT 210 must be taken at an institution that teaches United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
