Curriculum

The Department of Accounting offers two tracks of study for the Master of Accounting:

Students must also pass a written comprehensive examination at the end of the program.


 

Audit

Students must take 30 credits to complete the Master of Accounting program.

The following eight courses (24 credits) are required for the Audit Track.

*If you have taken Accounting 410, 451, or 472A, as an undergraduate, you will not be allowed to take Accounting 510, 554, or 572A respectively as a MAcc graduate. If you choose not to take one or more of the optional accounting courses you may take an approved ACCT, MIS, FIN, ECON, or LAW course.

**Elective only for audit students who have completed ACCT 522 with a high "B" or better and have received permission from the instructor.

Replacement electives must be approved prior to registration by the MAcc Advisor.
